Sat 15 May 2010: conquering Cuddesdon

Twelve women turned up at Headington for this 18 mile ride. The weather was warm and comfortable for cycling. We crossed under the ring road and climbed up to Stanton St John, then through Forrest Hill and Wheatley and onto the old A40 before turning right towards Great Milton. We road through the country lanes and into the lovely village of Cuddesdon for coffee at the Bat & Ball Pub (full of cricket memorabilia). The homeward route took us passed the Theological College and down the hill into Horspath and onto Sustrans route 57 back into Oxford. The ride leader was Helen Beane and the sweeper was Lucy Wright.
