Sat 5 June 2010: a short, slow-and-steady ride to celebrate the Isis Cyclists’ 2nd birthday

The Isis Cyclists celebrated their 2nd birthday by going on a cycle ride and eating cake! As we are now two years old we reckon that we’re old enough to have traditions, so we will ride our now traditional, short 2-loop, city-centre based birthday ride. We started from Oxford Railway Station for a 10am start. True to the founding ethos of the group, this birthday ride was perfect for beginners: we took it at a gentle pace, at the speed of the slowest, and it was less than ten miles in total. The ride leader was Lucy Wright.
